LUCIA chair, A&B Living

The Lucia chair is formally inspired by the circular structure of the traditional “batell” boats of Lake Como, also called Lucia from the Manzoni novel. They are used by the fishermen of the lake to transport their catch, but also passengers. It is the very symbol of the lake. The Lucia chair consists of a radiating marqueterie de paille shell and a textile seat.
